Whatnot Rewards Club Enhances Buyer-Seller Interactions

Whatnot has sparked excitement with the launch of its innovative new feature, the Rewards Club. This loyalty program is set to transform the interactions between buyers and sellers by adding a sprinkle of recognition and a dash of rewards to the mix.

The Rewards Club is essentially an achievement-based loyalty program that not only benefits sellers in growing their businesses but also keeps track of buyer interactions, ultimately leading to a more engaging and rewarding experience for all users. The program functions round the clock, presenting a seamless entry process for participants and aiming to foster deeper connections between buyers and sellers, in turn boosting purchases.

Tailored to cater to the unique needs of each seller, the Rewards Club offers a high level of customization. Sellers are empowered to personalize their loyalty program to suit their community and business objectives, ensuring a tailored experience that resonates with their audience.

Structured in five distinct tiers – Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond – the Rewards Club requires a specific number of achievements to unlock each tier. These achievements are defined by the seller and could encompass various actions such as the number of shows watched, purchases made, or total amount spent on the platform.

Unlocking these tiers comes with a range of enticing rewards and benefits, including coveted status badges, diverse coupons (ranging from dollar-based to percentage-based discounts and free shipping), and exclusive access to tier-specific shows. Enrollment into the program is automatic upon the completion of achievements, streamlining the process for participants to start reaping the rewards.

To keep things fresh and engaging, Rewards Club programs undergo a seasonal reset every three months. This periodic refresh not only adds an element of excitement but also offers sellers the opportunity to refine and enhance their offerings as they progress through the different seasons – Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.

The adaptability of the Rewards Club lies in its ability to cater to the diverse requirements of various sellers. With the freedom to set achievement thresholds and select rewards that align with their overarching strategies, sellers can truly make the loyalty program their own.

Managing tiers and achievements is a straightforward process, with achievements serving as tasks designated by the seller for buyers to complete in order to progress through the tiers. Sellers have the flexibility to kickstart their program at any point during a season and make adjustments at the end of each season based on their evolving needs.

The beta testing phase for the Rewards Club will run until August 31, paving the way for the official launch of Season 1 on September 1. During the beta testing period, sellers have the liberty to modify their tiers and cancel their program by reaching out to their Account Manager or the dedicated Whatnot Support team.

For sellers eager to dive into the Rewards Club journey, joining the waitlist for early access to editing tiers ahead of the Season 1 launch is the first step towards unlocking a world of benefits and rewards.

In order to participate in the Rewards Club, sellers must meet certain requirements, including having processed 50 or more non-giveaway orders, earned over $1,000 on the platform, held a seller status for at least 30 days, maintained a seller rating of 4.8 or higher, and avoided involvement in any violations for a second time.

For buyers, membership in a seller’s Rewards Club is automatically granted upon making a purchase. The management of coupons and rewards is conveniently consolidated on the Rewards Club overview page, ensuring a seamless experience for buyers as they navigate through the program.

Achievements are systematically tracked, with the total amount spent (inclusive of taxes and shipping fees) contributing towards unlocking tiers. It’s worth noting that discounts applied through coupons do not count towards the spending achievements, maintaining a level playing field for all participants.

To uphold user privacy and preferences, members have the option to either display or conceal their Rewards Badges during live shows, underscoring the platform’s commitment to respecting individual choices.

As the Rewards Club unfurls its array of benefits, Whatnot remains committed to providing support and guidance to users, ensuring a smooth transition into this exciting new feature. For any queries or assistance, the Whatnot support team stands ready to address concerns and offer assistance every step of the way.
